Should your application meet our criteria, you will be invited to a video interview, to respond to pre-recorded questions.
Upon successful completion of the video interview, you will be sent links to an online critical thinking assessment.
Our Clerkship Day consists of a group case study, a drafting exercise and a Q&A session.
If you're successful, you'll receive an offer for a place on our Clerkship Programme. Perform well there and you'll be offered a Training Contract with us once you've completed your legal studies and P.C.LL.. At every stage, you'll have access to our Graduate Recruitment team if you need any support.
Once you pass the first stages of our recruitment process, you’ll be invited to join our Clerkship Day at our Hong Kong office. Here’s what will be involved.
You’ll be given a mock business scenario to read through individually before discussing as a group. The task will prompt you to work towards set objectives and we’ll be assessing you based on the quality and substance of the contributions you make, in addition to how effectively you work with others in the group.
Lasting one hour, this exercise involves drafting a brief advice based on the group case study. We’ll also ask you to prepare an executive summary. In this exercise, we’re looking for you to demonstrate good commercial instincts, problem-solving skills and the ability to draft confidently and credibly.
